FOOTBALL OR ANYTIME PHILLY CHEESESTEAK DIP

PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 350°

20-25 MINUTES

COOKING SPRAY

  • 12 oz. of beef steak like flank steak or flat iron steak (sliced very thin. Turn on side and sliced thin like a pencil)

or whatever type of meat of you choice

  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (more or less to your taste)

  • 2 large green peppers – diced (example: 1/2″ squares)

  • 2 large yellow onions – diced – (do the same as green peppers)

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 3/4 cup sour cream (light version)

  • 6 oz. neufchatel (light cream cheese)

  • 6 oz. provolone cheese – shredded (strong or mild)

  • 3 tablespoon canola or oil of your choice

  • A baquette – sliced & toasted

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Cup sliced green onion (not the white) on top of cooked dip

  • INSTRUCTIONS:

Season prepared beef with salt & pepper (front and back)

Spray frying pan, add beef and cook on high until done.

Add oil and saute onions and peppers until they are soft (5 minutes or so)

Combine all of the ingredients in an oven proof dish and bake for 25 minutes or until hot and all the cheese has melted.

Serve and enjoy
